Mrs. Sherri Larkin is a 25 year Snohomish native, elementary school teacher, and school board director running for state senate here in Legislative District 44. Her platform is simple and common sense, spending is too high, and our children are falling behind.
Despite historic spending up 114%(WA office of Financial Management), 2025 opened with a 16 Billion dollar 4-year deficit. This is unsustainable. Washington Economic and Revenue Forecast Council found that 44% of business leaders were either considering or in the process of relocating out of state; while the overall business climate is ranked as negative. Sherri’s solution is simple: lower taxes, cut wasteful spending, and encourage small businesses to return to the Evergreen state.
A mother of 5 and grandma to adorable little kids, education is a value she holds dear to heart. Sherri has spent decades serving local kids educational needs, first as an elementary school teacher and Snohomish School Disctrict board director. She plans to take her cultivated knowledge of what makes our kids successful to Olympia with a focus on academic achievement, career counseling, and ensuring parents not only know what their kids learn, but are a part of the learning.
